Sarafian – This very slow, very dry commentary finds the director reminiscing about the shoot and the philosophical themes he tried to work into the movie. The Vanishing was released on 27 October 1988, and received positive reviews. Honestly I have no memory of what the second movie was, only that Vanishing Point just … It's Vanishing Point the original not the rubbish remake so yeah it's a brilliant film if you haven't seen it then go check it out but for the love of all things decent make sure it's this version from the seventies and not that god awful 90s remake rubbish that version will burn your eyes out all said this is one of the all time great car films and sometimes goes unnoticed
